The Guide to the Legal Use of Images and Other Non-Textual Sources introduces readers to the basic principles of copyright and other rights associated with the use of non-textual resources. This publication is primarily intended for students and other members of the academic community. However, anyone who has questions about how to deal with the legal issues surrounding the use of non-textual resources—both their own and those from abroad—can benefit from it. The guide first familiarizes readers with theoretical concepts and then discusses specific ways to use non-textual sources.
